A proposal for a two-storey house on the former Taj on Swan site has been refused by the council, but the applicants were offered another chance if the design plans are revised.
Perth businessman John Gillett is suing his former aged care company CraigCare Group over alleged breaches of a consultancy agreement he claims cost him more than $3.4 million.
UPDATED: The massive block of land that once housed the derelict half-built mansion dubbed the "Taj on Swan" in Peppermint Grove has failed to sell at auction, but an offer was accepted on Friday 3 August.
