Joel Cann has a 20-year career in senior executive positions within global financial services businesses including ING Group, US Prudential, JPMorgan and Aberdeen Asset Management, investing in public and private markets in real asset classes in Australia and offshore through single assets, funds and operating companies. Prior to becoming chief executive of Aspen Group Mr Cann was the founding managing director of AMB Capital Partners, a diversified private investment company funded by an Australian family office, that focused on property and property-related businesses including 360 Capital Property Group, Providence Housing, Blue HQ Marinas and Bluestone OCM. Mr Cann holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. He is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and member of the Securities & Investment Institute (UK) and Australian Institute of Company Directors.
