Joanna Millard is an executive director of John Hughes Group and executive chairperson of associated company Gilpin Park. She is a daughter of group founder John Hughes.
A graduate of the University of Sydney, she has also completed an Executive MBA at UNSW Business School. She has worked as a commercial lawyer at Sydney firm Hicksons and as a volunteer at Redfern Legal Centre.
Her business experience includes being the founder of Pure Moves, a Pilates and fitness centre in Perth where she worked as a director for 11 years. She was also the founder of SwitchCars, a digital-first car subscription business.
Ms Millard is president of the WA board of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organisation) and a council member at St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls.
