Jo Wilkie has a wealth of experience in the areas of community development, family services, social justice and human rights.
In her role as grants manager at Lotterywest, Ms Wilkie was responsible for grants in the areas of medical and social research, community legal services, community broadcasting, homelessness and Big Ideas. Prior to joining Lotterywest, she worked in the not-for-profit sector for 20 years including at Centrecare, the YMCA and Anglicare. During this time, she was a member of several Ministerial Advisory Committees and Government Taskforces, and was founding chair of the Youth Legal Service which is now over 30 years old.
Ms Wilkie has a creative and strategic approach to the operations and governance of organisations, and is a strong advocate for collaboration and cooperation to achieve maximum community benefit.
