Jim McDowell

James McDowell has over 35 years of experience in defence and aerospace sectors; and has lived in the UK, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and Saudi Arabia.
Mr McDowell began his career with BAE Systems Australia in 1996 and held senior management positions prior to becoming chief executive of its Saudi Arabia office. He spent 18 years at aerospace company Bombardier Shorts in legal, commercial and marketing roles. Mr McDowell was appointed chief executive of the Premier and Cabinet in the South Australian state government, and became the group chief executive of Nova Group in December 2020.
