Dr Jim Giumelli is the founder of Western Australia engineering contractor Ertech, and chair of Ertech Holdings. In 2008, responding to the shortage of skilled labour within the construction industry, he founded the Ertech Construction Academy which is an innovative training institution aiming to provide young people with a pathway into the civil construction industry.
Dr Giumelli has over 50 years of experience in the construction industry, holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, and is a Fellow Chartered Professional Engineer of Engineers Australia.
He was named Western Region Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 in the Services Category, and the Western Region Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 in the Financial, Business and Property category.
