Jim Chown
Member / Liberal Party WA
James Chown was appointed Shadow Minister for Agriculture & Food; Regional Development; Royalties for Regions; and Fisheries under Liza Harvey's Shadow Cabinet in 2019. He was also the Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer and Minister for Transport. Mr Chown was the Liberal Party member of the Western Australia Legislative Council for Agricultural Region from 2009 to 2021.
He was born in Sale, Victoria, and arrived in Western Australia in 1959.
Mr Chown was a farmer before entering politics.
