Jeremy Taylor is a mining engineer with 40 years of international mining experience, including 25 years within the diamond industry. He is experienced in the underground, open-pit and corporate mining environments having worked in operations and projects in Lesotho, Botswana, South Africa, Australia, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Canada and Indonesia.
Mr Taylor worked for several diamond mining organisations including Gem Diamonds, Rio Tinto Diamonds, De Beers Consolidated Mines and Debswana Diamond Mining Company. Prior to joining Burgundy Diamond Mines in November 2021 as vice president of operations, he was the chief operating officer of Letseng Diamonds for 4 years.
Mr Taylor graduated from the Royal School of Mines at the University of London, is a Fellow of the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and a member of Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
