Ivor Roberts

Dr Ivor Roberts joined the WA Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety in 1997, initially as regional manager of geological survey in Kalgoorlie before becoming executive director of mineral titles in May 2010. With over 150 staff located in 10 regional locations including Perth, Dr Roberts is responsible for ensuring that Western Australia is the destination of choice for responsible exploration and mining. Prior to that, he held academic and research positions at several universities including the University of New South Wales and the Western Australian School of Mines.
