Ramelius likely to record $70m loss
Gold producer Ramelius Resources has flagged it is likely to record a before-tax loss of approximately $70 million for the financial year, mainly as a result of big write-downs.
Ian Gordon is a mining executive with experience in a variety of management positions and commodities. He held management roles at Delta Gold, Rio Tinto Exploration, and Gold Fields. Mr Gordon was the chief operating officer and managing director of Ramelius Resources from 2007 to 2014, and managing director of Flinders Mines from 2014 to 2016.

Gold producer Ramelius Resources has flagged it is likely to record a before-tax loss of approximately $70 million for the financial year, mainly as a result of big write-downs.
Ramelius Resources is forging ahead with exploration and development at its newly-acquired Vivien gold deposit near Leinster, launching a $16.3 million capital raising to fund the activities.
Ramelius Resources will appoint chief operating officer Mark Zeptner to succeed retiring managing director Ian Gordon when he steps down in June after seven years with the gold miner.
