Ian Daymond has more than 36 years of experience as an external or in-house lawyer in the mining and resources area.
He was general counsel and company secretary of Delta Gold for over 11 years.
Mr Daymond has independent director experience, having served as a non-executive director of the International Base Metals with copper interests in Namibia. He was also chair of ElDore Mining Corporation, ActivEX and Copper Range and former non-executive director of Hill End Gold. Mr Daymond was the national chair of the Australia-Southern Africa Business Council for 3 years and has substantial business, legal and corporate government precious, base metals and diamond projects, not only in Australia but also in southern Africa for 25 years.
He is the Honorary Consul in NSW for the Republic of Botswana.
