Ian Burvill is an experienced director whose career has spanned more than 40 years and roles across the mining and finance sectors.
He began his career as a mechanical engineer focused on the design and construction of mineral processing plants before moving into finance at Rothschild Australia, where he provided project finance for mining projects.
He was a senior vice president of private equity fund manager Resource Capital Funds from 2001 to 2016.
During his time at RCF, Mr Burvill served as a non-executive director of several mining companies, including ASX-listed Pan Australian Resources NL (now PanAust), Highlands Pacific and Murchison Metals.
Mr Burvill has also served as a non-executive director for Jolimont Global Mining Systems, Bannerman and Scandivanadium.
He retired in late 2024.
