HongLiang Chen joined the Huayou Cobalt Group in May 2002 and is a director and president of its parent company, Shanghai stock exchange-listed Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co.
Mr Chen worked in management positions at the Agricultural Bank of China, Tongxiang Branch Investment Corporation Tongxiang Securities Department, and Shenyin Wanguo Securities Co.
