Helen Hristofski has been the general manager of Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company since November 2023.

She was previously the chief executive and executive producer of Barking Gecko Theatre Company from August 2013 to July 2021 and was responsible to the board of directors for the articulation and implementation of the company's strategic vision; as well as an oversight of all programming, producing, financial, marketing, investment partnerships, personnel and administrative management.
