Helen Cook has experience in nuclear power projects and transactions around the world, and is involved in the International Atomic Energy Agency as a global nuclear law expert.
Ms Cook spent approximately 9 years (to 2020) based in Washington DC and has relationships with US Government agencies and US nuclear industry groups. She has also held a number of nuclear industry leadership and committee positions including as chair and vice chair of the Law Working Group of the World Nuclear Association, and is a member of the executive committee for the Australian Nuclear Association.
Ms Cook, who is author of the comprehensive legal textbook The Law of Nuclear Energy, is the principal of GNE Advisory - a law practice dedicated to the global civil nuclear energy sector. She has nuclear commercial, international relations and trade, nuclear regulatory, legal compliance, governance and risk oversight experience.
