
Dr Helen Astill is an environmental scientist with over 20 years of experience, including more than ten years in line management and business planning roles. She has worked with State Government regulatory bodies, environmental consultancies and research organisations.
Dr Astill was the general manager of ESG at Kalium Lakes; HSE manager of Jadestone Energy where she was involved in operations, drilling and brownfield projects in Australia; director and regulatory approvals specialist at A Priori Consulting, HSE manager at Quadrant Energy, executive marine scientist at Sinclair Knight Merz, strategic planning manager of the Swan River Trust, senior aquatic ecologist at the Department of Water, and an environmental consultant of DAL Science & Engineering.
Dr Astill has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology from Murdoch University, Masters of Business Administration from Curtin Business School, PhD in Environmental Management from Edith Cowan University, and a Post Doctorate in Estuarine Ecology from the University of Port Elizabeth.
