Mr. Schoch is a Canadian-based qualified engineer with considerable experience in the management and growth of listed oil and
gas companies. From 1976 to 1995, Mr. Schoch was the Chief Executive Officer and major shareholder of MPH Consulting Limited, a Canadian engineering and geological services company which grew to be one of the largest in Canada, with experience in over 80 countries. Mr. Schoch also founded Petromet Resources Limited in 1982 and took it public in 1983, focusing on natural gas exploration and production in Western Canada. In May 2001 the company was sold to Talisman (one of Canada’s largest oil and gas companies) for more than C$900 million. Mr. Schoch is also the Chairman of the TSX-listed industrial manufacturing company AirBoss of America Corp. Mr. Schoch was appointed a director of Aurora on April 4, 2005.
