Greg Smith has extensive experience within the building products industry in manufacturing, technical and sales across the clay and concrete products sectors. He specialises in operations and project management, safety transformation leadership, lean implementation and contract negotiation.
Mr Smith was the general manager of Midland Brick; Boral’s Western Australian clay and concrete product operations; and has worked for Selkirk Brick, Austral Brick Company and Metro Brick. In June 2019, he became assistant director of estate management and planning WA with the Department of Defence where he is responsible for the coordination of all development and maintenance works across the defence estate in Western Australia, Christmas Island and Cocos Island.
Mr Smith holds a Master of Business Administration (Executive), Graduate Diploma in Management, Certificate of Applied Science – Industrial Ceramics, Certificate in Quality Control from the School of Mines, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
