Gordon Cairns

Gordon Cairns has extensive Australian and international experience as a senior executive and has held senior management positions in marketing, operations and finance with PepsiCo, Cadbury and Nestlé. Mr Cairns is chief executive officer of Lion Nathan, chair of Woolworths, director of Macquarie Group and Macquarie Bank, director of Quick Service Restaurant Group and non-executive director of World Education Australia. He was chair of the Origin Foundation, David Jones, Rebel Group, and director of The Centre for Independent Studies and Westpac Banking Corporation. Mr Cairns is also a senior advisor to McKinsey & Company. He holds a Master of Arts (Honours) from the University of Edinburgh.
