
Gina Ravenscroft leads the Rare Disease Genetics and Functional Genomics Group, which she established in 2020, at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and the University of Western Australia.
Dr Ravenscroft is a National Health and Medical Research Council Career Development Fellow (2017-2022) and has published papers identifying more than ten novel human disease genes.
In 2016, she was awarded the World Muscle Society's Young Myologist of the Year and the Young Tall Poppy Award from the Australian Institute of Science and Policy.
In 2021, Dr Ravenscroft was a winner in the Business News 40under40 Awards and a recipient of the Intrapreneur award.
