Gemma Manning founded the PR company Manning & Co and the business advisory service Gemstar. She is an entrepreneur and a strategic marketing and communications professional.
Before forging her career as an entrepreneur, Ms Manning held key senior roles in the corporate sector including as head of business identification for Proudfoot Consulting, a global management consultancy. Prior to this she was the Asia Pacific marketing manager for Covance, a drug development firm, where she focused on growing the company’s brand presence across Asia Pacific.
Ms Manning is an active member of the Australian Women’s Business Network and the Australian Marketing Institute, and has presented webinars and written articles on strategic marketing.
She was shortlisted as Telstra Young Business Woman Of The Year in 2011 and has received various awards during her career.
