Gareth Jones has over 30 years of experience in financial, governance and commercial leadership roles; and specialises in project financing, business performance and project management.
Prior to becoming the chief financial officer of Austin Engineering in November 2021, Mr Jones was the director of finance and business services at St John of God Midland Public Hospital, chief financial officer & company secretary of Poseidon Nickel for over a decade, and held a variety of senior commercial and management positions in the UK including as head of commercial for British Gas Business and commercial manager of Vodafone UK.
Mr Jones is qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds an MBA from the University of Warwick Business School. He is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia and Association of Accounting Technicians, and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
