Frederic Briens

Frederic Briens was appointed chief technical officer of Janus Continental Group in May 2018 and is based in Kenya. Mr Briens is an oil and gas industry executive with over 30 years of experience in exploration, extraction and asset management. He held roles of chief executive, chief operating officer and managing director. Mr Briens has a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Colorado State University where he also published a number of academic articles focusing on field rehabilitation and reservoir management. His work has led him to oil and gas hubs globally including Peru, Venezuela, West Africa, Texas, the Middle East, and East Africa.
