Francis Norman is a professionally qualified and experienced engineering manager with over 40 years spent in resource project engineering and business leadership.
He has a comprehensive understanding of all phases of project delivery, developed through an extensive background as an Instrumentation engineer with experience of major projects from early-phase design, FEED and detail engineering, construction and commissioning, through to eventual client handover in Australia and overseas.
Mr Norman has been the chief executive and managing director at the Centre of Decommissioning Australia (CODA) since July 2022, having been its general manager 13 months prior. He had previously spent 6 years at the National Energy Resources Australia (NERA) where he was general manager of decommissioning and strategy, and general manager of innovation and strategy. He was also a former WA division president for Engineers Australia.
Mr Norman holds a Master of Science in Project Management and a PhD in Management.
