Eve Howell has over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in a number of technical and managerial roles.
She was executive vice president at Woodside Energy and was responsible for Health, Safety & Security, having previously served as executive vice president of North West Shelf. Before joining Woodside, Ms Howell was managing director of Apache Energy and regional vice president for Apache Corporation in Australia.
Ms Howell is non-executive director of Downer EDI, Mermaid Marine Australia, the West Australian Ballet, and the Ngarluma & Yindjibarndi Foundation. She is a senior advisor at Miro Advisors.
She had previously served on a number of boards, including the Fremantle Port Authority, the Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association, the Australian Mines and Metals Association, and the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
Ms Howell is a life member of the Petroleum Club of WA and a distinguished member of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia.
Ms Howell graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours in Geology and Mathematics) and has a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University.
