Elizabeth Coutts ONZM has been the chair of Ports of Auckland, Urwin & Co, Oceania Healthcare and Skellerup Holdings; director of Tennis Auckland Region Incorporated; and member of Marsh New Zealand Advisory Board.
She was also chair of Meritec Group, Industrial Research, and Life Pharmacy; director of Air New Zealand, the Health Funding Authority, Sanford and the Yellow Group of Companies; deputy chair of Public Trust; board member of Sport NZ; member of the Pharmaceutical Management Agency; commissioner for both the Commerce and Earthquake Commissions; external monetary policy advisor to the Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand; president of the Institute of Directors; and chief executive of the Caxton Group of Companies.
In 2016, Ms Coutts was awarded an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit.
