ASX listed Emu NL has ramped up drilling at its lode-gold style Gnows Nest project in WA with a 6,500m reverse circulation program that has already intersected quartz veining at depths between 120m and 190m downhole. Drill testing is ongoing at the historic Gnows Nest mine, the Monte Cristo prospect and at a new target known as Watertank Hill, within a significant structural zone between Gnows Nest and Monte Cristo.

Emu NL is back on the bit in Western Australia with the tenacious ASX-listed explorer set to plough more than 6,500 metres of drilling into its Monte Cristo and Gnows Nest gold discoveries south of Yalgoo. Previous drilling over the prospects uncovered a bounty of high-grade mineralisation, with better intercepts including an impressive 3m at 42.17 grams per gold from 77m.

Emu NL is currently building a substantial copper target in WA's emerging South West Mineral Field, with recent surface sampling at its Viper project outlining copper mineralisation along nearly four kilometres of strike. Sampling extended both east and west of the high-grade Netty copper mine and also returned anomalous levels of nickel and cobalt, pointing to a deeper sulphidic target.

Emu NL is stalking a gaggle of new targets at its Sunfire nickel-copper project near Bridgetown in WA. The project hosts a suite of mafic-ultramafic intrusions similar in nature to Chalice Mining's heralded Julimar discovery. The Yornup Mill prospect already boasts an extensive, drill-ready nickel-copper anomaly that currently extends over more than 1,500 metres of strike.

Emu NL's Viper copper project in WA is already looking the goods with first pass sampling across the prospect throwing up visible copper. The company's maiden auger drilling program has tested the main copper bearing stratigraphy along more than 3 kilometres of strike where the field team has been routinely picking up samples containing visible copper mineralisation.

Emu NL has kicked off its 2021 drilling campaign at the Gnows Nest gold project in WA. The company has commenced a 9,000-metre reverse circulation across the historical mining area which is aimed at validating and building on the existing high-grade resource over the Gnows Nest mine and to begin testing the extensive gold mineralisation at the Monte Cristo prospect to the north.

Emu NL has wasted no time and hit the ground running across its recently acquired suite of gold and nickel projects in southern WA. The company has put its exploration team in play at the 8 Mile project near the Menzies gold mining centre north of Kalgoorlie, while it makes preparations to commence extensional drilling at the high-grade Gnow's Nest gold deposit south of Yalgoo.
