Donna Thornton is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience within the resources and contractor mining sectors.

Prior to becoming the chief financial officer of Catalyst Metals in February 2023, Ms Thornton was the group financial controller of ASX-listed gold miner Alkane Resources where she played a pivotal role in assisting the finance team through the development of the underground mining operations at Tomingley, demerger of ASX-listed Australian Strategic Minerals, multiple capital raisings, and leading the company’s management and statutory reporting obligations.
