Dr Donald Hamson has over 27 years of investment management experience.
Dr Hamson is the founding managing director of Plato Investment Management. Prior to that, he was the head of active equities for Asia Pacific at State Street Global Advisers, and chief investment officer of Westpac Investment Management where he was involved in forming BT Financial Group.
Prior to moving to the investment industry, Dr Hamson was a lecturer in finance at the University of Queensland and a Professor at the University of Michigan Business School.
