Dirk Fairweather has more than 25 years of experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, and related strategic advisory matters. He conducts complex proceedings before superior courts, as well as arbitration and alternative dispute resolution procedures.
Mr Fairweather has particular experience in relation to corporations and insolvency law; regulatory, compliance and enforcement processes; and is frequently briefed by other legal, accounting and corporate advisers to collaborate on joint client engagements.
He is also instructed by company boards, executives and senior management to provide advice and representation in relation to high-priority legal matters.
Prior to establishing Fairweather Litigation in July 2017, Mr Fairweather was responsible for leading commercial litigation and dispute resolution teams at Cardinal Litigation + Dispute Resolution and Allion Legal. He was also a senior associate in the commercial litigation and dispute resolution division of Allens Arthur Robinson, and a principal of Maxim Litigation Consultants.
