Debra Blaskett has been appointed to the board of Fremantle Ports in January 2021.
Ms Blaskett had previously spent over 10 years with Perth Airport, becoming chief corporate services officer in October 2016 until her departure from the company in July 2020. She was responsible for corporate services including risk, governance, safety, environment, people and culture, and corporate affairs. Prior to Perth Airport, Ms Blaskett held several senior positions in the Commonwealth public service across the portfolios of Australian External Territories Administration, aviation, maritime, offshore oil and gas security regulation.
Ms Blaskett was also the deputy chair of the Tourism Council of Western Australia from October 2019 to July 2020.
She holds Bachelor of Jurisprudence, Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (Honours), and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
