He was previously the head of finance, sales and marketing at Australian graphite producer Bass Metals where he led a large team in the development of a successful mine operation with supplies of critical minerals worldwide. He was also the inaugural executive director of Waratah Gold (now Waratah Resources) and chief financial officer of Albidon, a significant resource house with mine operations in Africa.
