Calidus Resources has intersected wide zones of high grade gold at its Copenhagen prospect, just west of the flagship Klondyke resource in the Pilbara. The best result was an impressive 10m intersection going 12.85g/t gold from 117m down-hole, including 4 metres at nearly an ounce to the tonne. Calidus Resources has entered into an agreement with TSX-V listed Pacton Gold Inc, to vend its non-core conglomerate gold rights at the Warrawoona gold project for a consideration of CAD$3.5m in Pacton shares. Calidus will retain all other gold rights to the ground. The deal covers 8 exploration licences and allows Pacton to explore and mine for conglomerate gold, with liability for rehabilitation and environmental obligations.

Drilling at Calidus Resources flagship Warrawoona gold project near Marble Bar in the east Pilbara has returned absolute surface gold hits including 8m @ 3.9g/t gold from 0m at the St George Shear prospect. St George has similar geology and gold mineralisation to the highest‐grade lodes across the Klondyke Main Shear and the company is carrying out infill drilling now.

Calidus Resources has uncovered multiple walk-up exploration drill targets from a detailed soil sampling program across its flagship Warrawoona project, located 25km south of Marble Bar in the east Pilbara region of W.A. Pilbara gold hopeful Calidus Resources has been knocked over in the rush from investors looking to secure stock in their recent placement that management says was “up to 3 times oversubscribed”. In the end, the company rejected millions of dollars worth of bids, taking just $10m from investors, leaving those that missed out with no option other than to buy on market.

Calidus Resources have wrapped up control of the highly prospective greenstone belt at their flagship Warrawoona project under an innovative joint venture with neighbouring explorer Novo Resources. The deal will see Calidus earn up to 70% of the rights to any gold discovered in the basement rocks on Novo's tenements and provides a consolidation opportunity for Calidus that has eluded previous operators.

A drilling blitz by Calidus Resources in the so-called Gap Zone at the Warrawoona gold project near Marble Bar has produced a lovely set of numbers for the rapidly developing gold explorer.
