David Johnson has over 25 years of experience across a wide range of deposit types including leading teams that resulted in successful exploration programs for IGO, WMC and Rio Tinto. He is also a proven mineral resource discoverer with significant experience in analysis and interpretation of geoscientific datasets to identify new exploration opportunities.
Prior to becoming chief operating officer of Patriot Lithium in March 2022, US-based Mr Johnson was a director of Cassini Resources; a founding principal of Revelation Geoscience, a mineral exploration consultancy based in Vancouver BC; and the chief geophysicist at Independence Group where he played a leading role in the discovery of the Moran nickel orebody at Kambalda and the Rosie nickel deposit in the Duketon greenstone belt.
