David Beros started as the head of product at DigitalX, an ASX-listed company that provides financial and technical advisory services to blockchain technology and cryptocurrency projects, in October 2017 before becoming chief product officer in April 2020. Mr Beros is skilled at identifying problems and creating new solutions using digital technologies, having previously worked in product management roles for corporate innovation teams in large energy and insurance firms. Prior to DigitalX, he worked in stockbroking and wealth management where he raised capital for junior mining and technology companies and set up two digital financial services business. Mr Beros is a co-organiser of Fintech Perth, a community of finance industry startups in Western Australia. His introduction to cryptocurrencies was in 2015, founding a hackathon team that built a foreign currency remittance prototype using blockchain technology.
