Danny Ford OAM is currently an independent consultant, a board member of the Polly Farmer Foundation and the Clontarf Foundation, and works part-time with BGC as a community relations manager. Mr Ford has been involved in numerous community groups and sporting initiatives, especially for youth, over the past 30 years.

In June 2022, Mr Ford was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the Indigenous community of Western Australia.
