Octava has ‘one million’ reasons to tap into WA antimony

Octava Minerals has tapped the market for $1 million in a bid to expand the antimony prospect within its Yallalong project in WA, with plans for both extensional and infill drilling. In a further show of support, company directors have also agreed to stump up $150,000 to provide a cash boost that will bolster the funds required for planned exploration programs.

Octava Minerals makes successful ASX debut

Lithium and gold explorer Octava Minerals hit the ASX boards today opening at $0.27 as it eclipsed its issue price of $0.20 by 35 per cent. After a fully subscribed initial public offering the company successfully raked in $6m with most of the funds earmarked for exploration at the company's flagship Talga lithium joint venture in WA's East Pilbara region.

Podium lifts platinum group metals resource at Parks Reef

Podium Minerals has unveiled a substantial increase in the inferred mineral resource estimate for its flagship Parks Reef multi-metals project in WA following a recently completed reverse circulation drilling campaign. The revised resource for Parks Reef's platinum group metals horizon now stands at 40.2 million tonnes weighing in at 1.54 grams per tonne 3E PGM for 1.98 million ounces of contained platinum, palladium and gold.

High-grade PGM hits for Podium at Parks Reef

As it closes in on a fresh mineral resource estimate for its flagship Parks Reef project in WA, PGMs explorer Podium Minerals has served up a cluster of high-grade assays from a recent resource extension reverse circulation drilling program. The pick of the drill intersections from the first batch of results received for the “stage seven” round of 27 holes totalling 4,157m came from one hole.

Podium secures grant to go deep at WA PGM deposit

Podium Minerals has upped the ante at its Parks Reef platinum group metals project in WA, having secured a government grant to co-fund the drilling of two holes to test for continuity of the existing mineralisation at depth. The holes will be drilled to more than twice the depth of any previous drilling at the deposit with a third hole also on the cards.

Podium charts high-grade rhodium at Parks Reef in WA

Things just got interesting for Podium Minerals at its Parks Reef platinum group metals project in WA. Five prior drill holes have been re-assayed for a full suite of PGMs and delivered materially higher grades of rhodium and iridium than previously reported Some assays went as high as 1.35 grams per tonne rhodium and 0.70 g/t iridium. Follow-up drilling is now underway.

Podium hits high-grade platinum-palladium in WA

Podium Minerals has tabled an array of high-grade intercepts from drilling at its Parks Reef PGM discovery in WA. Exploration across the central and eastern sectors of the emerging deposit has delivered some exciting results including 46 metres at 2.01 grams per tonne 3PGM from only 12m and 7m at 5.75 g/t 3PGM, which includes an impressive 1m at 25.74 g/t 3PGM from 89m down-hole.

Podium extends Parks Reef PGM discovery

Podium Minerals continues to extend its Park Reef discovery in WA, with its maiden drilling program across the eastern extensions of the deposit returning a wealth of PGM mineralisation. Systematic drilling has delivered a bounty of precious metal intercepts including 12 metres at 2.56 grams per tonne 3PGMs from 33m and 21m at 1.47 g/t 3PGMs from 103m down-hole.

Podium pockets $2.4 million for nickel tenure

ASX-listed Podium Minerals has revealed a significant metals inventory lift at its Parks Reef PGM project in the heartland of the Murchison province of WA. The company unveiled an increase of 22 per cent in its three elements of platinum group metals to 1.39 million ounces and an impressive 44 per cent increase in the overall copper content to 53,900 tonnes.

Podium continues winning streak at platinum find

Podium Minerals has continued its winning streak as it races towards proving up Australia's first economic PGM deposit at the Parks Reef project in WA. Ongoing drilling has extended the footprint of the company's discovery to nearly 7km of strike with results returned including intercepts of 19m at 2.11 g/t platinum group metals. Podium banks $1.1m for Parks Reef PGM drill-out

ASX-listed platinum group metals explorer Podium Minerals has boosted its coffers by another A$1.1 million after receiving a payment of $711,000 from EV Metals Group for tenement-related costs. Perth-based Podium is also looking to offload its 17 per cent shareholding in EV Metals, who holds the oxide mining rights excluding PGM mineralisation within Podium's Parks Reef project area in the Mid West region of WA.

Dodd takes on executive role at Podium

Podium Minerals' non-executive chairman and major shareholder, Clayton Dodd has stepped up into the executive chair role in a move that is part of a plan to cut corporate overheads by $300,000 per annum whilst continuing to leverage the expertise of the existing management team. Podium's CEO, Tom Stynes will step down but will continue to manage the company operations and Grant ‘Rocky' Osborne has resigned as a director in support of the cuts.
