Chris West
Co-Founder, Principal Consultant / Context Capital
Chris West has institutional investment experience covering portfolio construction, risk management, operations and policy development.
He was appointed investment manager of WA Super in August 2013, became general manager of investments in April 2017 and chief investment officer in July 2019. He was a finalist in the national 2019 Conexus Financial Superannuation Awards Chief Investment Officer of the Year Awards. In November 2020, Mr West helped established Context Capital after a successful merger between WA Super and Aware Fund, and became its principal consultant.
Mr West holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance from the Australian National University, and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst ® professional.
