Chris McFadden is a lawyer with over 21 years of experience in exploration and mining. He has extensive international experience in managing large and complex transactions, and a broad knowledge of all aspects of project evaluation & negotiation in challenging and varied environments.
Mr McFadden is the president & chief executive of NxGold, chair of NexGen Energy, and a director of IsoEnergy.
He was previously the business development manager of Newcrest Mining; head of commercial, strategy and corporate development at ASX-listed Tigers Realm Coal; general manager of business development at Tigers Realm Minerals; and the commercial general manager of Rio Tinto's exploration division with responsibility for gaining entry into new projects through negotiation with government or joint venture partners, or through acquisition.
Mr McFadden holds a combined Law & Commerce degree from Melbourne University, and an MBA from Monash University.
