Charlie Zannino
Council Member / Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council
Charlie Zannino has been serving the Swan community since 1987. He was a Councillor from 1987 to 1993, and from 1999 to present. He has served as Mayor twice, from 2001 to 2003 and 2008 to present. He has extensive involvement and experience with many community groups, committees and boards including the East Metropolitan Regional Council, Swan Valley Planning Committee, Development Assessment Panel, Midland Redevelopment Authority, Perth Airports Municipalities Group, Swan Valley Tourism Association, Grape Growers Association and Swan Chamber of Commerce. In 2016 Mr Zannino became Freemen of the City of Swan, the highest local civic honour, in recognition of his exceptional service to others.
