Charles McGill joined Kidman Resources from Incitec Pivot (IPL) where he was group vice president, investor relations & corporate development. In addition to leading IPL’s investor engagement program, he advised on IPL’s strategy, M&A, corporate finance, and risk and capital markets activities. Prior to joining IPL, Mr McGill was a senior executive in Wesfarmers’ business development team where he led major M&A transactions and capital expenditure reviews. His earlier corporate experiences include chief operating officer of service & systems for Austal, a Perth-based global shipbuilder and defence contractor. He also spent a period in investment banking and capital markets advisory in Sydney and New York with Morgan Stanley. Mr McGill served in the US Navy from 1997 to 2003, ultimately serving as Aide to the Secretary of the Navy in the Pentagon from 2001 to 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Science (with Merit) in Systems Engineering from the US Naval Academy and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
