Catherine Officer is an experienced company secretary and corporate lawyer with over 20 years of experience. She has a comprehensive knowledge of, and experience in, administering regulatory frameworks and processes in a listed company environment which she gained from working for a regulator (ASX Limited) and major listed financial services company (Macquarie Group). As the ASX's national listings counsel, Ms Officer was responsible for the development and implementation of the Listing Rules including the Enhanced Disclosure framework, disclosure of directors' transactions and capital raising amendments. At Macquarie, she was a member of the senior management team of the Company Secretarial Division, responsible for a range of matters including operational risk management for the division and advice to the board on regulatory & corporate governance issues. Ms Officer holds an LLB from the University of Melbourne.
