
Carmelina Fiorentino has more than two decades’ experience as a non-executive director, including four years on the Fremantle Port Authority board. In her executive and board roles, Ms Fiorentino has worked in numerous diverse sectors including ports infrastructure, government regulation, business consulting, property development and not-for-profits, where she has applied her expertise in strategy, finance, audit, risk and organisational transformation. In 2025, Ms Fiorentino was appointed chair of the Catalina Regional Council's audit risk & improvement committee.
She served as a commissioner on the Gaming and Wagering Commission of WA from 2018 to 2022, and is a former board member of PICA Foundation, St Thomas More College UWA, UN Women Australia (Perth), John XXIII College Finance Committee, SouthWest Corridor Development Foundation (SWCDeF), and Mosman Park Arts Foundation.
Ms Fiorentino’s executive finance and accounting experience includes roles in government and private sectors including Lotterywest, the Office of Auditor General, and UWA Business School. Since 2016, she has worked with Business Foundations providing strategic and business mentoring to start-up business owners.
She is qualified as a Fellow Chartered Accountant and has completed an MBA with Distinction, Graduate Cert in Urban & Regional Planning, Bachelor of Commerce, and has completed the AICD Company Directors Course (GAICD).
