Carel van der Westhuizen is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) and Site Contamination Specialist with a Masters in Hydrogeology from the Institute for Groundwater Studies.

He specialises in ground water, contamination and environmental impact assessments and management in urban, industrial and mine settings; and has completed many local, national and international investigations & assessments for large mining complexes, metal refineries and contaminated land.
