Bud O'Shannessy is the managing director and co-founder of LiveMine Solutions, a Western Australian mining technology company transforming the way mining operations capture, manage and use operational data.
With more than 30 years of underground mining experience, Bud began his career as a jumbo operator and progressed through leadership roles including mine foreman, mine superintendent and project manager.
His deep operational knowledge has given him a unique understanding of the challenges faced by mining companies and the opportunities technology can create.
In 2018, Bud co-founded LiveMine Solutions to bridge the gap between mining operations and practical technology.
Under his leadership, LiveMine has grown into an international mining software business with deployments across multiple countries, helping mining companies improve productivity, compliance, visibility and decision-making.
