Brad Banducci has a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management, and Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Before his appointment as managing director and chief executive of Woolworths in February 2016, he was managing director of food group and director of liquor. Mr Banducci joined the company in 2011 after the acquisition of the Cellarmasters Group, a direct wine retail and production company. He was chief executive of Cellarmasters from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, he was the chief financial officer and director, and later a non-executive director, of Tyro Payments. He was also vice president and director of The Boston Consulting Group, where he was a core member of their retail practice for 15 years.
