Bill Hayden
Bill Hayden is a geologist with over 36 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry, much of which has been in Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. He was the founder and president of Ivanhoe Nickel and Platinum (Ivanplats), a Canadian company which has assembled extensive mineral holdings in South Africa, Zambia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since 1986, Mr Hayden has worked in a management capacity with several exploration and mining companies in Australia and overseas. He was the president of Ivanhoe Philippines (an Ivanhoe Mines wholly-owned subsidiary) and president of GoviEx Uranium Inc.
