Ben Killigrew has almost 20 years of experience in project management, strategic business development and innovation within the public and private sectors.
Dr Killigrew began his career in agriculture and viticulture, gaining a doctorate in viticultural pathology before realising that the career prospects were brighter in land development and project management during WA’s mining boom.
He worked for LandCorp as Pilbara regional manager when the Pilbara was feeling the pressure of investment from vast mining projects, and went on to work in regional development related roles at the University of WA and KPMG before becoming chief of staff to the Minister for Housing, Racing and Gaming (including Liquor) in 2015. Dr Killigrew then spent over 3 years as chief operations officer at the Town of Victoria Park before becoming general manager of West Coast operations at MNG in March 2021.
