Barry Newstead has been the ecosystem and print lead at Canva since August 2021.
Prior to that, he was with Redbubble for over 6 years, as chief operating officer, chief executive and managing director. Prior to Redbubble, Mr Newstead held internet-focused executive roles at the Wikimedia Foundation (which runs Wikipedia) in San Francisco and at Australia Post. He also spent 14 years as a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group and the Bridgespan Group (an affiliate of Bain & Company).
Mr Newstead has lived and worked in North America, Asia, Europe and Australia.
