Barry Lambert

Barry Lambert AM founded ASX-listed company Count Limited in 1980. He was chair of Class Limited and subsequently took Class through to its listing on the ASX before retiring in 2017.

In 2016 and 2017, Mr Lambert and his wife Joy made donations to establish the Lambert Initiative at Sydney University and Lambert Center at Thomas Jefferson University, respectively. Both entities are focused on the research and education of medicinal cannabis and hemp.

In 2022, Mr Lambert was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to cannabinoid medical research, to business, and to charitable organisations.
